Construction Updates and Notifications
Project’s Construction Process:
Once a street is milled, SUBGRADE will need to be established and prepped for Cement Stabilization. After inspection of the Subgrade, CEMENT STABILIZATION (if needed) can occur. Trucks carrying bulk cement will be distributed across the Subgrade to be mixed into the material via a hydraulic mixing machine. Now mixed and graded to engineered elevation, SOIL TESTING must be conducted for quality control. With the material properly mixed, graded, and tested, the CEMENT TREATED SUBGRADE must cure for 24 - 72 hours.
After curing is completed, trenching for the Concrete Ribbon Curb will take place. Crews will then begin pouring the Concrete Curbs and Concrete Driveways. Concrete requires 3 - 7 days to properly cure and cannot be driven over.
Once concrete work is completed, Asphalt Paving may begin.
